Aero Transportation was formed in April 2006, when the operating team from Billings Logistics joined Aero Logistics, establishing a new office and crossdock facility in Lexington, NC. Billings Logistics was an internal operating division of the Billings Freight Group, a specialty LTL carrier from Lexington, NC that ceased operations in 2006.
